
Partner Development Manager – Enterprise Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead intricate enterprise partnership agreements from initiation to closure, overseeing multi-stakeholder negotiations and facilitating successful partner integration.
• Formulate and enhance partnership strategies across key enterprise sectors, encompassing new and evolving opportunities.
• Establish and manage a pipeline of strategic partners that broadens Plaid’s influence and unlocks new avenues for growth.
• Collaborate closely with Product teams across Payments, Credit, and Identity/Fraud to ensure alignment of partnership strategy with product priorities and market needs.
• Convert partner and customer requirements into clear, actionable prospects that highlight Plaid’s unique value proposition.
• Navigate lengthy and intricate sales cycles, generating momentum among diverse stakeholders and propelling decisions forward.
• Work together with sales teams to identify, shape, and progress partnership opportunities within their client accounts.
• Take ownership of quarterly partner acquisition targets and assist in driving growth within key enterprise sectors.
• Contribute to acquisition strategy, pipeline prioritization, and forecast accuracy to facilitate effective business planning.
• Address complex partner challenges through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Risk, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, and Business Operations.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategic sales, or a similar go-to-market position.
• Preferably possess enterprise partnership experience with a proven history of structuring and finalizing complex commercial agreements.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder agreements, including opportunities exceeding 7 figures in ARR.
• Strong capability to comprehend and articulate complex technical products and APIs in a manner that resonates with both business and technical audiences.
• Proven track record of navigating extended, intricate sales cycles and fostering alignment among multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong customer empathy and a history of cultivating partnerships that provide significant business value.
• High level of curiosity, adaptability, and comfort in navigating ambiguous or evolving situations.
• Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or infrastructure software is desirable.
• Enthusiasm for working in a high-growth environment and assisting in the development of new processes, playbooks, and operational methods as the team expands.
• Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are contingent on the position offered.
