This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Establish, nurture, and oversee effective relationships with government entities, SLTT organizations, regional stakeholders, and the cybersecurity sector.
• Organize engagement efforts and initiatives that involve state and local governments, regional associations, and other external collaborators.
• Assist in the stakeholder engagement programs, processes, and mission objectives of DHS/CISA.
• Utilize knowledge of cybersecurity principles, policies, and industry practices to guide stakeholder coordination and program initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams, government representatives, industry partners, and other involved organizations.
• Plan, organize, and monitor projects, stakeholder interactions, deliverables, milestones, and action items.
• Create executive briefings, reports, presentations, meeting materials, correspondence, and other high-level documents.
• Convert technical, cybersecurity, policy, and programmatic details into clear communications designed for both executive and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, stakeholder discussions, and subsequent activities.
• Recognize stakeholder needs, risks, dependencies, and emerging challenges, providing recommendations to program leadership.
• Offer consulting and advisory assistance related to stakeholder engagement, cybersecurity projects, program coordination, and partnership development.
• Keep up-to-date documentation, status reports, and records of stakeholder engagement.
• Assist with additional program management and coordination tasks as necessary.
• Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles from a technical, policy, or integrated standpoint.
• Experience collaborating with state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) organizations, including municipal governments, regional associations, or similar public-sector entities.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with industry stakeholders and external partners.
• Background in working with cybersecurity industry partners or organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in interactions with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in producing executive-level deliverables, presentations, reports, briefings, and other professional written materials.
• Experience in coordinating and managing projects, deliverables, timelines, and competing priorities.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, organization, and general management.
• Demonstrated consulting capabilities, including evaluating stakeholder needs, synthesizing information, and providing actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively across technical, policy, program, and executive stakeholder groups.
• Must be eligible for obtaining and maintaining DHS suitability.
• Capability to comprehend and convey cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to create polished, concise, and executive-ready materials.
• Strong analytical, consulting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• High level of professionalism, judgment, attention to detail, and responsiveness.
• U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
