Partner Account Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and develop the partner business within your designated territory, driving both new and expansion revenue through assigned partners.

• Collaborate with cross-functional Illumio teams and partner resources to execute effectively while nurturing strong relationships.

• Establish a scalable partner-led sales model that enhances partner sales results.

• Regularly surpass booking goals across new subscriptions, renewals, support, and professional services.

• Recruit, onboard, empower, and manage partners to ensure successful implementation of Illumio initiatives.

• Create and maintain a robust pipeline of partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities.

• Lead collaborative business planning with partners, covering performance objectives, financial goals, and execution milestones.

• Act as the main escalation point for partner-related issues and channel conflicts.

• Provide market insights and competitive analysis to guide channel strategy.

• Keep precise forecasting, pipeline, and activity reporting in Salesforce (SFDC).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in partner, channel, or alliance management.

• Demonstrated success in partner sales within a technology manufacturing or vendor environment.

• Strong comprehension of partner-led deal structures, deal flow, and business planning.

• Capability to enable, influence, and hold partners accountable for measurable results.

• Experience working effectively within a matrixed, fast-paced organization.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Extensive knowledge of reseller, systems integrator, and consulting partner ecosystems.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
