
Part-Time Water Management Equipment Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Water Management Equipment Technicians (WMETs) offer service and account management support to clients within a designated area.
• WMETs assist existing clients by conducting water tests, maintaining equipment, and supporting the upkeep of Comprehensive Water Management Programs through the analysis of microbiological and water chemistry data, responding swiftly, professionally, and accurately to client inquiries.
• WMETs may carry out minor maintenance on water monitoring devices, take on-site measurements using testing instruments, and collect water samples from buildings for laboratory culture analysis.
• Upon completing training, the employee may be expected to mentor or train colleagues to promote consistent knowledge sharing and team development.
• A background in science, engineering, or mathematics is preferred.
• Capability to learn how to operate equipment that measures pH, temperature, and residual oxidant levels in water.
• Proficient in using MS Office, Gmail, and various Google applications.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• A keen interest in acquiring new knowledge and concepts.
• A demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and fostering a diverse workplace.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving business environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Candidates must reside in or near Milwaukee, WI.
• Mileage reimbursement is provided.
• The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required at times.
