Part Time Software Platform Engineer – Co-Op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Engage in monthly seminars focused on enhancing participation.

• Fulfill training requirements set by Raytheon.

• Take part in activities related to security clearance.

• Meet regularly with a mentor for guidance and support.

• Dedicate 2–4 hours each month to assist with co-op initiatives.

• Transition to a full-time onsite role in Aurora, Colorado upon graduation and clearance approval.

• After the transition, contribute to the design, development, and upkeep of systems that support customer missions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be a Senior or Post-Graduate anticipating graduation/completion of studies in December 2027 in Computer Science or a related STEM field.

• A minimum of 90 credit hours must be completed by the start of the internship/co-op session.

• Prior experience in software development utilizing scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Shell is required.

• Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued TS/SCI / CI Poly security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• An active and existing security clearance is required from day one.

• Must be able to work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.
