This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Engage in remote work for 10 hours each week, scheduled between 9 AM and 5 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
• Identify suitable candidates and evaluate their qualifications through resume reviews, interviews, and various communication methods.
• Arrange interviews and oversee the preparation of interview questions and other hiring materials.
• Connect qualified candidates with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Maintain communication with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.
• Verify the credentials of potential employees.
• Keep accurate and updated human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Address frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes; refer more complex inquiries to senior-level HR staff or management.
• Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Conduct periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all necessary documents are collected and properly filed.
• Assist in the formulation and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected roles.
• Provide clerical support to the Talent Acquisition Team.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• Must reside in a HUB Zone certified area.
• An associate’s degree in a related field is required.
• Previous related office experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Skilled in or able to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar applications.
• Experienced with or capable of rapidly learning applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
