Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via ongoing telemedicine.

• Provide treatment for clients aged 14 and above.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete or manage relevant documentation and assessment tools.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services.

• Offer care to clients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health disorders.

• Participate in the ADHD Clinic and accept ADHD clients for treatment.

• Refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine-only treatment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

• Board certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3,600 clinical practice hours completed under supervision is required.

• Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is essential.

• At least one year of experience in psychiatry is needed.

• Must hold a license and reside in the state where services are provided.

• Availability for part-time work of 15–20 hours per week is required.

• Willingness to work with clients aged 14 and older is necessary.

• Must complete in-house training and an exam on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• Three years of experience is a plus.
