Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through an ongoing telemedicine platform.

• Must be open to treating clients aged 14 and older.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Engage in consultations with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credential with Board Certification.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred; at least one year of psychiatry practice is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will be working.

• All clinicians are expected to complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification examination.
