
Part-Time Lecturer, Surveying Engineering Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Create and deliver online courses for undergraduate students within the curriculum.
• Develop syllabi in accordance with departmental standards.
• Engage in lesson planning, design assignments, manage grading, and hold office hours.
• Communicate with students through an online learning management system and/or other educational software.
• Attend course coordination meetings alongside fellow faculty members.
• Complete orientation and training as necessary.
• Must be licensed as a land surveyor in the United States.
• Hold a Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree in surveying engineering technology or a closely related field by the date of hire.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in both remote and in-person collaborative team settings.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a surveying engineering technology-related field is preferred.
• Prior successful teaching experience in surveying or engineering practices is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
