Part-Time Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generate weekly social media content for GrowMate and Super Microbes, which includes static posts, carousels, short-form videos, and reels.

• Utilize existing brand assets, user-generated content, stock photography, and stock footage to create compelling content.

• Edit graphics and videos tailored for various social media platforms and formats.

• Investigate current social media trends, innovative formats, and effective content strategies.

• Propose new content concepts that resonate with each brand’s target audience and goals.

• Ensure that all content aligns visually with established brand guidelines.

• Oversee maintenance and updates of the Company’s Wix websites.

• Publish and format blog entries and other content for the website.

• Refresh website copy, images, graphics, and page layouts.

• Format and manage content within the Wix CMS.

• Detect and rectify basic formatting or visual consistency issues across websites.

• Revise and update existing product labels.

• Implement changes accurately and efficiently.

• Design new labels following established templates and brand guidelines.

• Proofread labels prior to finalization.

• Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, layout, imagery, and branding.

• Prepare organized, production-ready artwork and files.

• Create and modify brochures, presentations, product sheets, digital advertisements, and other marketing materials.

• Develop product mockups and digital graphics.

• Conduct image manipulation, editing, and retouching.

• Adapt existing designs for various platforms, dimensions, and applications.

• Assist with additional creative projects as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in digital, social media, branding, print, or product design.

• Familiarity with Wix Editor or a comparable website-building platform.

• Basic understanding of website or content management systems; experience with Wix CMS is preferred.

• Interest in agriculture, biotechnology, wellness, or consumer products.

• Experience in creating or updating product labels and packaging.

• Knowledge of ChatGPT or other AI-assisted creative tools.

• Experience managing multiple brands at once.

• Capability to handle multiple weekly tasks and adhere to deadlines.

• Strong creative judgment and idea development skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail, especially in proofreading and final artwork preparation.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.

• Capacity to maintain organized working files, folders, and creative assets.

• Reliable communication skills in a remote working setting.

• Comfort using Hubstaff for time tracking purposes.

• Must be available to work during UK time (GMT/BST) or Eastern Time (ET).
