Part-Time Forward Air Controller, Rotary-Wing Pilot SME, Air-to-Ground Integration, Close Air Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and validate a previously conducted capability-based assessment (CBA) along with the associated implementation plan focused on Air-to-Ground Integration (AGI).

• Evaluate the execution of identified lines of effort by partner nations.

• Assist in refining doctrine, standard operating procedures, and training frameworks to facilitate sustainable development of AGI capabilities.

• Assess Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) certification requirements and course curriculum to ensure they align with operational needs and long-term force generation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Former U.S. Military Pilot (Rotary-Wing) with significant experience in Close Air Support (CAS) and air-to-ground integration operations.

• Preference for a retired O-5 or O-6 military officer.

• Consideration will also be given to experienced CW5 Aviators.

• Proven experience in integrating air and ground operations in joint and combined environments.

• Familiarity with Joint Targeting processes, including involvement in targeting cycle activities.

• Experience as a certified Forward Air Controller (FAC).

• Background working within a Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), specifically in planning, targeting, or operational execution functions.

• Experience in advising, mentoring, or supporting partner nation military forces in security cooperation or institutional capacity-building roles.

• Demonstrated capability in reviewing, developing, or refining military training programs, doctrine, or operational procedures.

• Experience in assessing operational effectiveness and offering recommendations to enhance capability development, force generation, or readiness.

• Active Secret clearance required.
