• Accurately record and update fund performance information, manager profiles, and market intelligence in the central database.
• Validate data entries against source documents (such as fact sheets and reports) to guarantee 100% accuracy and consistency.
• Follow up with fund managers and industry partners through email and phone to obtain missing information or clarify details.
• Assist in creating reports, newsletters, and administrative tasks related to the annual Symposium.
• Maintain an organized digital filing system for all industry reports and sensitive commercial documents.
• A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Finance, or Data Management is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably within the financial services or media sectors.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (data formatting, basic formulas) and overall computer proficiency.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors in complex numerical data sets.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills for professional engagement with global clients.
• A strong sense of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential financial information.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude with the capability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
• A genuine interest in the African financial markets and alternative investment sector.
