This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with patients to discuss their benefits, coverage options, and financial alternatives.
• Execute tasks related to benefit verification and prior authorization processes.
• Offer continuous financial education and support to patients throughout their care journey, acting as an educator, advocate, and liaison.
• Manage patient accounts by gathering, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance details.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a medical business office, with a solid understanding of healthcare billing and collections, insurance/benefits, and patient interactions.
• Experience in interpreting and comprehending payer remittance advice is essential.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience in an OB/GYN office setting is advantageous.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with departments, staff, physicians, managers, patients, and insurance providers.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required.
• Must be an independent worker, detail-oriented, and proficient with technology.
• Competency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel, is expected.
• A high level of customer service is critical.
