Part-Time Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Travel to rural locations to install and service our devices on farms, with a daily range of 1-50 sites.

• At each site, you will need to sanitize tires and boots, scale feed bins that are between 10 and 40 feet tall, and set up our sensor along with a small solar panel inside the bin.

• The installation process generally takes between 10 and 15 minutes.

• Address basic issues with field devices that require servicing, as needed.

• Follow biosecurity protocols as necessary for each farm location.

• Keep accurate records of mileage and timesheets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Certification for working at heights, with a comprehensive understanding of how to use fall protection gear.

• A clean driving record with the capacity to drive for 8 to 10 hours a day.

• A dependable smartphone and a basic understanding of its functions, including taking essential measurements.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and proficiency in English.

• A positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.

• A strong work ethic, maintaining high standards for yourself and showing respect for others.

• Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.

• Capability to work in various weather conditions.

• Physically fit to climb and lift over 50 lbs.
