Part-Time Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Travel to rural locations to install and service our devices on farms, handling between 1 to 50 installations in a single day.

• At each site, you will need to disinfect tires and boots, ascend feed bins that range from 10 to 40 feet in height, and set up our sensor and small solar panel inside the bin.

• The installation process usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

• Address basic issues with field devices requiring service, where applicable.

• Follow biosecurity protocols as necessary for each farm location.

• Keep precise records of mileage and timesheets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Certification for working at heights, with a thorough understanding of fall protection equipment usage.

• Clean driving record and the capability to drive for 8 to 10 hours daily.

• Reliable smartphone with basic operational knowledge and the ability to take simple measurements.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and the ability to converse in English.

• Positive attitude and a service-oriented mindset.

• Strong work ethic, high personal standards, and respect for others.

• Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.

• Capable of working in various weather conditions.

• Physically able to climb and lift weights exceeding 50 lbs.

• Experience working at heights.

• Familiarity with power tools.
