Part-time Faculty – University Clinical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver thorough and prompt feedback to students regarding their assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, secure, inclusive, and student-focused learning atmosphere.

• Complete necessary assignments by due dates, including final grades, assessments, grading criteria, and input for grade appeals.

• Maintain relevant professional training and/or scholarly activities as necessary.

• Offer feedback on course content to the course leader.

• Identify students at risk and work in collaboration with student services.

• Ensure that students adhere to course deadlines within the synchronous schedule.

• Conduct weekly synchronous meetings with students during designated clinical course times.

• Meet with local clinical supervisors and authorized site representatives at least once per course for each student.

• Keep communication lines open with the Clinical Administrative Team and Program Leadership.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and faculty to promote program quality, student engagement, and success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or related fields from a regionally accredited institution.

• Independent licensure as a marriage and family therapist.

• Prior experience in clinical supervision.

• Approved AAMFT Supervisor or AAMFT Supervisor Candidate status.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

• Proven track record of or potential for excellence in teaching.

• Dedication to serving a diverse adult student population.

• Preferred experience in college-level or field teaching.

• Submission of a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a statement detailing online and/or onsite teaching experience for a diverse student body.
