Part-time Faculty, Master of Nursing – Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver didactic and/or clinical instruction online to students with efficiency.

• Design and facilitate an effective 'classroom' experience via Zoom.

• Engage students effectively by employing a range of teaching methods.

• Assess students in both classroom and clinical environments using effective educational strategies.

• Grade assignments and address student inquiries within 48 hours.

• Communicate clearly with students, staff, and faculty, both verbally and in writing.

• Emphasize student-centered learning throughout the curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or Doctor of Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

• Must possess an active, current, and unencumbered PMHNP state license in Texas or California within 6 months of employment.

• A minimum of two years of current experience in a PMHNP role, including the diagnosis and treatment of patients in a clinical setting.

• National board certification specific to PMHNP.

• Experience in online higher education.

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining courses.
