Part-time Faculty – Master of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver didactic and/or clinical instruction online to students in an efficient manner.

• Design and provide a meaningful “classroom” experience via Zoom that enhances the learning of course/program objectives, equipping students to become competent, entry-level Nurse Practitioners.

• Engage students effectively through a variety of teaching methodologies.

• Assess students in both classroom and clinical environments using effective educational techniques and tools.

• Grade assignments and address student inquiries within 48 hours of assignment submission.

• Respond to student emails within 24 hours of receipt, ensuring timely feedback on questions and concerns.

• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty through both verbal and written means.

• Emphasize student-centered learning throughout all curriculum aspects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Doctor of Nurse Practitioner with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization.

• A minimum of two years of continuous clinical practice in the Nurse Practitioner role, currently working part-time in this capacity.

• At least two years of current experience in a Family Nurse Practitioner role, including diagnosing and treating patients in a clinical setting.
