Part-Time Faculty, Clinical Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional instruction utilizing a pre-established curriculum

• Guide doctoral students and engage in doctoral committees

• Offer constructive feedback to facilitate successful course completion

• Respond to inquiries within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, via phone, email, and within the courseroom

• Travel within the United States to attend doctoral residencies

• Leverage the online learning platform to enhance the educational experience

• Set evaluation criteria and ensure learners comprehend the evaluation process

• Comply with University policies and protocols

• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and required training sessions

• Engage in additional activities as needed by the university

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel to and instruct at residencies 3–4 times annually, with each residency lasting between 4–12 days; selected candidates are expected to participate in at least half

• Proven expertise in academic evaluation

• Effective communication skills across all levels of the University

• Proficient in oral presentation, planning, and organizing course objectives

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities

• Demonstrated proficiency with academic technology

• Strong computer literacy

• Capability to professionally and ethically manage potentially stressful situations

• Preferred three years of teaching experience

• Professional experience in the field: a minimum of two years required for undergraduate instruction and three years for graduate instruction

• Research, scholarship, or accomplishments in the field required for graduate-level teaching

• Doctoral-level experience in conducting and supervising research in the field is required

• All degrees must be conferred by a regionally accredited institution

• PhD in Psychology or a related discipline

• A current psychology license is mandatory

• Ability to travel occasionally within the United States as business needs dictate

• Access to a computer, private workspace, reliable internet connection, phone, and video conferencing capabilities at a remote location

• Applicants must possess authorization to work in the United States

• Visa sponsorship is not available

• Ability to meet critical-thinking and problem-solving demands while effectively communicating with colleagues

• Capability to retrieve information using a computer

• Must be available to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs require
