Part-Time Chaplain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Acts as a messenger and advocate for faith, mission, and purpose.

• Engages with companies, their workforce, and the community in a manner that reflects character through personal and spiritual disciplines.

• Conducts regular brief visits to company worksites (typically on a weekly basis) to connect with employees and foster a relationship of trust and friendship, driven by the Chaplain’s profound Christian faith.

• Visits employees or their immediate family members at various locations where care can be provided and assistance offered: hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, family homes, or other relevant sites.

• May facilitate confidential pastoral discussions regarding personal issues affecting employees and their immediate family members.

• Ability to collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary team and in an interfaith environment.

• Proficient in effectively listening to and interacting with clients, employees, and their families.

• Possesses spiritual maturity and a commitment to a Christian lifestyle, aligned with MCHAPs Ministry values.

• Proven ability to engage professionally with diplomacy, patience, and courtesy across diverse groups.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with leadership, colleagues, employees, and families.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze information to identify and follow up on problems or objectives.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or other equivalent software.

• Must possess an active state driver’s license and meet state minimum auto insurance requirements for the state(s) where clients are serviced.
