Part Time Ambassador

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Facilitate student engagement through consistent student conferences/meetings, parental communication, and coaching to address both academic and social-emotional needs

• Manage a caseload of students, acting as their primary point of contact within the school

• Function as a liaison among students, Learning Coaches, and teachers and/or administration

• Reach out to students who start late or are absent by phone to swiftly ensure a Strong Start at the school

• Track the academic progress and activities of students within the assigned caseload

• Establish meaningful, ongoing communication via phone with students and their Learning Coach

• Initiate broader student support interventions when a student exhibits signs of academic decline, as evidenced by course grades, log-ins, course activity, and missing assignments

• Schedule support conferences as necessary to address performance issues

• Aid students in formulating plans to regain their academic footing

• Provide outreach, training, and support to families responding to Students First Check In surveys

• Enhance professional knowledge and skills by attending mandatory staff meetings; engaging in school and K12 sponsored Professional Development, and pursuing additional professional learning opportunities

• Participate in state testing as required


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, Associate’s degree, or professional certificate

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Customer service orientation

• Adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic work environment

• Experience in coordinating academically focused clubs and extracurricular activities

• Familiarity with the online learning environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time

• Ability to pass a required background check
