This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accountable for tasks related to the creation, processing, and monitoring of accounts payable and receivable.
• In charge of processing invoices.
• Completes posting functions to the general ledger.
• Conducts reconciliations for general ledger accounts to ensure the accurate processing and posting of account entries.
• Aids in the preparation of financial institution deposits.
• Assists with account research and the scheduling of audits.
• Contributes to the development of efficient processes and procedures.
• Performs additional duties and clerical tasks as assigned.
• Prints checks weekly or as required.
• Contacts vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Reconciles monthly bank, credit card, and loan account statements.
• Conducts regular inventory reconciliations.
• Creates and supervises work order instructions for various packs.
• Investigates and rectifies inventory discrepancies.
• Over 3 years of finance or accounting experience in B2B accounts, with previous startup experience considered a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, professional communication skills (both written and verbal), and excellent follow-through abilities, demonstrating tact, confidence, and ethics.
• Competitive and innovative drive to engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, proactive with outstanding organizational skills.
• Proficient in problem-solving, research, and client follow-up with both external and internal contacts.
• Adaptable to rapid changes typical of a startup environment.
• BA/BS degree required; an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance is strongly preferred.
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, pivot tables, V-lookups, and formulas.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, Excel, and Google Suite is essential.
