Parametric Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement geometry algorithms

• Engage in computational optimization tasks

• Create internal tools for enhanced functionality

• Contribute to both cloud and backend development efforts

• Focus primarily on C# development while working on a standalone product, with approximately 99% of the role dedicated to this language

• Develop code that interfaces with the product’s 3D engine

• Collaborate closely with the product lead within a dedicated product team

• Work alongside in-house Unreal specialists on user interface projects

• Navigate a diverse set of responsibilities that may evolve with skills, interests, and shifting priorities

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of expert or advanced C# experience; C# is the core language with no alternatives

• At least 2 years of experience with AWS, along with a working knowledge of Azure/GCP and a willingness to learn AWS

• Over 3 years of experience in AEC computational design or geometry; experience in related fields such as manufacturing, robotics, CAD, simulation, or gaming may be considered as a substitute

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in applied computational optimization, or a robust background in applied mathematics/algorithms with proven optimization experience

• Suggested 5+ years of professional software engineering experience at a mid-to-senior level

• Familiarity with 3D vector mathematics, mesh geometry, rendering techniques, and shaders

• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other 3D game engines is advantageous but not mandatory
