Paralegal, Legal Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Perform initial reviews of cross-border commercial agreements, such as vendor, banking, and PSP contracts.

• Oversee contract execution, monitor key terms, and maintain contract documentation across various group entities.

• Assist in negotiations by identifying legal and commercial risks for escalation to legal counsel.

• Ensure consistency and alignment of contractual standards across different jurisdictions.

• Monitor and manage essential contract terms across the organization.

• Support AML, KYC, sanctions, and financial crime compliance processes in collaboration with Legal and Compliance.

• Aid with regulatory filings, licensing requests, and ongoing submissions.

• Manage onboarding and due diligence processes for PSPs, banks, and significant counterparties.

• Conduct relevant legal research.

• Provide advice on FX regulatory frameworks.

• Assist in the implementation of group-wide legal and compliance policies.

• Communicate with external counsel, regulators, and service providers as necessary.

• Convert legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams.

• Monitor regulatory obligations and support timely execution across jurisdictions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant exposure to financial services, fintech, FX, or crypto-related sectors.

• Strong experience in commercial contracting and contract lifecycle management.

• Practical experience supporting AML, KYC, sanctions, or financial compliance processes.

• Experience collaborating with banks, PSPs, or regulated counterparties.

• Capability to work independently and handle multiple priorities across time zones.

• Excellent, responsive communication skills in a remote work environment.

• 5–7 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with multi-entity or cross-border corporate structures.

• Law degree is preferred.
