This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist claims and legal teams with document examination, file organization, and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and settlement agreements.
• Perform legal research pertaining to insurance regulations, case law, and statutes.
• Collaborate with attorneys, claims professionals, and external partners on ongoing matters.
• Support litigation efforts including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions across multiple cases.
• Aid in settlement coordination and documentation.
• Effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish – required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Paralegal experience (preferably in insurance defense, P&C, or related fields).
• Background in Property Damage, Subrogation, and/or Bodily Injury claims or litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Texas legal procedures and court systems.
• Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Highly organized with the capability to handle a high-volume caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
