This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the intake, triage, and tracking of contracts across various jurisdictions; ensure adherence to SLAs and uphold intake workflows.
• Create, revise, and compile NDAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and standard commercial documents utilizing templates and playbooks.
• Manage the contract repository/CLM (including naming conventions, metadata, and version control), conduct searches, and extract contract summaries and obligation logs.
• Prepare contract closing packets, facilitate signature routing, and handle post-execution uploads.
• Assist with privacy workflows, including overseeing the complete DSAR process, updating data inventory maps, and monitoring vendor data processing agreements (DPAs).
• Support the preparation of privacy-related documentation and evidence for audits and interactions with regulators as directed.
• Generate and maintain employment documents, offer letters, termination checklists, and HR legal templates for People Operations, with legal guidance.
• Aid in onboarding/offboarding checklists and the tracking of employment documentation.
• Provide continuous support for litigation and claims: coordinate document collection and e-discovery with external counsel.
• Compile litigation packets, maintain case timelines and trackers, collaborate with external counsel, and oversee deadlines and filings.
• Assist with pre-litigation intake, fact-gathering, and managing correspondence.
• Conduct ad-hoc research across essential legal areas (including product compliance, data privacy, and global employment) to assist counsel in strategic decision-making.
• Develop and sustain playbooks, templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Manage outside-counsel panels, oversee matter intake, and assist with billing and invoicing processes for outside counsel.
• Generate legal operational metrics and dashboards (contract volume, turnaround time, outside counsel expenditures).
• At least 4 years of paralegal experience either in-house or at a law firm, supporting corporate/commercial, privacy, or litigation matters; mid-to-senior level (typical range 4–7+ years).
• Paralegal certificate, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical experience with implementing or managing contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., CLM tools), Google Workspace; familiarity with e-discovery tools and privacy workflows is preferred.
• Exceptional drafting, proofreading, and document assembly skills; keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage asynchronous workflows across global time zones (U.S., U.K., India).
• Strong communication and project management abilities; capacity to address competing priorities while maintaining SLAs.
