This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Strategize, design, and execute extensive paid media plans specifically targeting Paid Search to enhance brand visibility and attract new users and leads through paid media initiatives.
• Perform in-depth audits of brands and websites to gain insights into our clients’ key value propositions, primary products, and brand aesthetics, while identifying opportunities to effectively market them and differentiate them in the marketplace.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to understanding paid search advertising actions, bidding systems, and market dynamics to optimize customer conversion at the lowest possible cost for the brand.
• Eager to create innovative paid search strategies that integrate traditional search, YouTube, and emerging AI search technologies.
• Carry out competitive analysis to guarantee success in the advertising domain and target new customer acquisition audiences.
• Oversee 6-10 Paid Media accounts (including but not limited to: Google, YouTube, Bing, and emerging AI search platforms like Koah and Kontext) on behalf of Darkroom clients, with total monthly expenditures ranging from $20,000 to $3M.
• Leverage Platform Ad Managers, third-party reporting tools, and AI to generate insights and actionable items aimed at boosting our clients’ revenues month-over-month while addressing attribution challenges.
• Attain mastery of essential KPIs such as CPA, CAC, iROAS, nCAC, MER, aMER, CTR, and CPM.
• Familiarity with industry benchmarks across all phases of the e-commerce marketing funnel.
• Make real-time, proactive, and reactive ad-buying decisions across various platforms in response to fluctuations on advertising platforms (daily engagement with ad platforms is required).
• Proactively devise quarterly strategies for clients based on anticipated success metrics, ad expenditures, year-over-year performance metrics, and forecasts.
• Conduct thorough competitor analysis, stay informed on industry trends, and understand brand identities to manage client expectations while continuously brainstorming innovative marketing initiatives, creative assets, and copy, followed by performance reviews.
• Grasp full-funnel marketing strategies to ensure robust new customer acquisition within the broader e-commerce framework.
• Identify client success needs and proactively provide projections and forecasts that feed into client quarterly strategies.
• Openness to learn and comprehend e-commerce P&Ls, with comfort in engaging with financial metrics.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in paid media advertising, specifically within Paid Search and Google, with a focus on building high-converting funnels and achieving measurable results.
• At least 3 years of experience managing paid search advertising for expanding clients in the consumer sector, with a monthly aggregate spend exceeding $400k.
• Proficient in developing, testing, and optimizing ad copy and short-form video creatives.
• Expertise in providing creative consultation for effective Paid Social Ads that drive conversions.
• Strong background in data-driven decision-making and budget forecasting linked to expected outcomes.
• Experience with all essential e-commerce revenue drivers, focusing on reporting metrics that truly matter (CPA, CAC, iROAS, aMER, CPM).
