This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take charge of and oversee client accounts.
• Assume complete responsibility for paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant platforms.
• Manage several client accounts at once while ensuring outstanding attention to detail.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships and offering strategic insights.
• Campaign Strategy & Execution
• Strategize, launch, oversee, and optimize campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Meta, and other paid channels.
• Create audience targeting, bidding strategies, account frameworks, and testing plans.
• Recognize growth opportunities and execute strategies that enhance lead generation, sales, and ROI.
• Client Communication & Reporting
• Lead client meetings and performance evaluations.
• Confidently present campaign outcomes, insights, and recommendations to clients.
• Convert complex performance metrics into clear commercial insights and actionable next steps.
• Proactively communicate opportunities, challenges, and strategic proposals.
• Performance Optimisation
• Monitor account performance daily and make optimization decisions based on data.
• Enhance campaign efficiency through audience segmentation, creative testing, keyword management, bid strategies, and landing page suggestions.
• Continuously test and refine campaigns to maximize return on ad spend.
• Analytics & Tracking
• Ensure precise conversion tracking and attribution across campaigns.
• Utilize GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and platform analytics tools for performance measurement.
• Resolve tracking issues and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with SEO, content, creative, and account management teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies.
• Provide paid media expertise across client projects and internal initiatives.
• Stay Ahead of Industry Changes
• Remain updated on platform updates, automation advancements, AI tools, and emerging paid media opportunities.
• Contribute innovative ideas and fresh approaches to enhance client outcomes.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in PPC and paid media.
• Significant experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns on a large scale.
• A proven history of enhancing performance and delivering measurable ROI.
• Experience overseeing multiple client accounts within an agency setting.
• Strong knowledge of: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, conversion tracking, and attribution.
• Comfortable presenting to clients and leading discussions on performance.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
