Packaging Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Accelerate the growth of the cushioning portfolio within the designated region in collaboration with local Account Managers.

• Demonstrate the ability to efficiently prioritize time and resources to achieve results.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of key market trends and customer requirements related to our cushioning offerings, and collaborate closely with marketing and I&D to ensure the right market strategies, products, innovations, and solutions are in place.

• Deliver product and solution expertise to distribution channels in partnership with Account Managers and RSDs.

• Collaborate with our Packaging Application Centers on bespoke projects and be ready to discuss and prepare value analyses and critical product specifications to support the sales team in securing or maintaining business.

• Align with the RSD and sales training team to identify gaps in product and solution knowledge and develop timely strategies to address these gaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS Degree; MBA or MS preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in outside sales.

• More than 3 years of experience with MS Office Suite.

• Valid Driver’s License is required.

• Willingness to travel overnight.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledgeable in CRM systems.

• Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong critical thinking capabilities and a creative mindset.

• Ability to convey complex topics in an easily understandable manner.

• Competence in influencing decision-making and negotiating with clients.

• Experience working collaboratively across teams and navigating complex environments.

• Demonstrates agility in learning new concepts.

• Solid business acumen.

• Focused on goals, deadlines, and results.

• Self-motivated and open to coaching.

• Strong skills in time management, prioritization, and organization.
