Packaging Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create designs for primary and secondary packaging, including dielines and structural concepts.

• Generate seasonal and innovative packaging solutions for beauty and skincare categories.

• Collaborate with product, brand, regulatory, and operations teams to confirm feasibility.

• Take ownership of color, finishes, typography, hierarchy, and overall visual packaging identity.

• Provide production-ready files along with vendor-specific specifications.

• Produce precise mechanical files for printing and manufacturing processes.

• Implement resizing, adaptations, layout modifications, and technical enhancements.

• Guarantee color fidelity, trapping, bleeds, and adherence to pre-press best practices.

• Oversee version control and manage packaging artwork libraries.

• Work alongside designers and printers to ensure impeccable production quality.

• Be considered for future full-time or part-time opportunities with enterprise partners based on your experience, availability, and alignment with projects.

• Proven experience in designing primary and secondary packaging.

• Familiarity with dielines and structural concepts.

• Experience in producing production-ready artwork, mechanicals, and technical documentation.

• Capability to develop packaging solutions for beauty and skincare sectors.

• Proficiency in creating vendor-ready specifications and mechanical files.

• Understanding of print and manufacturing standards.

• Knowledge of color accuracy, trapping, bleeds, and pre-press best practices.

• Ability to manage version control and packaging artwork libraries.
