Packaging Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Create designs for primary and secondary packaging, including dielines and structural concepts.

• Develop innovative and seasonal packaging solutions for beauty and skincare categories.

• Collaborate with product, brand, regulatory, and operations teams to confirm feasibility.

• Oversee elements such as color, finishes, typography, hierarchy, and the overall visual identity of packaging.

• Provide production-ready files and specifications suitable for vendors.

• Prepare precise mechanical files for printing and manufacturing processes.

• Implement resizing, adaptations, layout adjustments, and technical enhancements.

• Guarantee color accuracy, trapping, bleeds, and adherence to pre-press best practices.

• Maintain version control and manage packaging artwork libraries.

• Collaborate with designers and printers to ensure high-quality production outcomes.

• Understanding of color accuracy, trapping, bleeds, and pre-press best practices.

• Proficiency in preparing files that are ready for print and manufacturing, as well as vendor specifications.
