Packaging Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Create designs for primary and secondary packaging, including dielines and structural concepts.

• Develop innovative and seasonal packaging solutions for beauty and skincare products.

• Collaborate with product, brand, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure design feasibility.

• Take ownership of color, finishes, typography, hierarchy, and overall visual packaging identity.

• Produce production-ready files and specifications for vendors.

• Prepare precise mechanical files for printing and manufacturing processes.

• Perform resizing, adaptations, layout modifications, and technical enhancements.

• Guarantee color accuracy, trapping, bleeds, and adherence to pre-press best practices.

• Oversee version control and maintain packaging artwork libraries.

• Work alongside designers and printers to ensure impeccable production quality.

• Proficiency in creating production-ready artwork, mechanical files, and technical documents.

• Capability to develop packaging specifically for beauty and skincare categories.

• Expertise in color accuracy, trapping, bleeds, and pre-press best practices.

• Skill in generating vendor-ready specifications.

• Ability to manage packaging artwork libraries and maintain version control.
