Outside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate Across Teams - Engage in district and regional meetings as required. Share weekly activities with the Pro Sales Manager.

• Build New Sales Relationships - Leverage local community events to consistently represent The Home Depot Pro brand, driving new business and expanding Complex Business. Promote all available products and services from the enterprise, including options for Commercial Credit, Volume Pricing Program, delivery, will call pickup, and online ordering. Generate new account revenue aligned with current organizational goals through individual targets and quotas. Work closely with the Inside Sales Support Representative as a primary contact to facilitate a seamless quoting, ordering, and transaction experience for customers. Forge strong partnerships with assigned clients through in-person sales appointments. Develop strategies aimed at broadening the customer base within the designated sales territory. Enhance incremental sales growth by nurturing business relationships with assigned customer portfolios and actively prospecting for additional sales opportunities.

• Manage Customer Relationships - Utilize Salesforce to strategize future sales call activities, oversee ongoing customer communications, and uphold a robust sales pipeline.

• Sales Prospecting - Initiate customer meetings to establish relationships, promoting The Home Depot value proposition and the opportunity to quote materials. Seek new business by utilizing leads offered by the internal Sales Development team, in addition to leads generated through existing customer relationships, stores, and community engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• 5 years of professional experience

• 2 years of experience in account management or sales management

• Over 2 years of experience in the home improvement or home building industry

• Proven professional development in a fast-paced retail environment

• Exhibits a strong capability to create and nurture an active network of relationships both within and outside the organization

• Ability to leverage relationships to achieve sales and profitability objectives

• Comprehensive understanding of Pro customer needs, focusing on meeting 100% of their product, credit, and performance requirements

• Assess customer preferences for service and customize communications and customer-facing activities accordingly

• Strong leadership and negotiation abilities; skillful in persuading or influencing others

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and capable of communicating effectively on a global scale.
