This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Promote Genius® and various Global Payments solutions to small and mid-sized enterprises in the restaurant, retail, and service sectors.
• Build and manage a steady pipeline through on-the-ground prospecting, digital outreach efforts, and local networking initiatives.
• Conduct consultative, value-driven presentations both in-person and online to showcase how Genius® aids businesses in optimizing payments, enhancing operations, and boosting customer loyalty.
• Work alongside your District Manager to identify new opportunities, schedule appointments, and finalize sales within a short timeframe.
• Keep accurate records of your pipeline and activities in Atlas and Salesforce, including call notes, follow-ups, and client interactions.
• Upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing merchants, including new features, software enhancements, and hardware upgrades.
• Remain informed about the fintech landscape, industry trends, and product developments to establish yourself as a reliable technology advisor.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or merchant services domains.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities—proficient in both in-person and virtual selling.
• High-energy, self-driven, and competitive—motivated to surpass targets.
• Professional demeanor and a sincere capability to engage with business owners.
• Knowledge of the restaurant or retail sectors is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and the capacity to spend at least 75% of your time in the field.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of relevant B2B sales experience.
• Must reside within the geographic area of the job posting.
