This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +1 more state.
• Identify and seek out new business prospects within the designated territory or industry.
• Conduct face-to-face sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for potential clients.
• Develop and nurture robust relationships with principals and customers to enhance loyalty and encourage repeat business.
• Achieve or surpass sales goals and performance benchmarks.
• Oversee a designated sales territory, which requires regular travel to client locations.
• Strategically plan and execute daily and weekly schedules for prospecting and follow-up activities.
• Maintain a current pipeline of active opportunities utilizing CRM tools.
• Collaborate with principals and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Accurately record all sales activities within the CRM system.
• Prepare regular reports detailing sales performance and territory status.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in outside sales, ideally in an industrial B2B setting.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong technical aptitude in industrial and process-driven environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with outstanding time management abilities.
• Capability to quickly establish rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (up to 25% overnight travel may be necessary).
