This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Responsible for the overall P&L for all accounts within the territory as well as for each customer, focusing on managing volume, sales, and profitability.
• Engages with all assigned accounts through in-person meetings at a minimum agreed frequency.
• Skilled in call planning, preparation, analysis, presentation, and follow-up after meetings.
• Cultivates relationships with ownership, sales, customer service, and merchandising representatives at each account.
• Comprehends the needs and purchasing behaviors of both customers and end-users.
• Facilitates one-on-one meetings with customer sales representatives to identify new opportunities.
• Accountable for providing proactive and innovative solutions.
• Participates in end-user meetings.
• Builds relationships with all key stakeholders within accounts, including finance, marketing, operations, and production.
• Collaborates with the designated S&S Account Manager to address the complete needs of the customer and enhance sales opportunities and frequency of interactions.
• Understands the customer’s go-to-market strategy, including their programs, remerchandising schedules, and methods for managing, renewing, refreshing, and fulfilling orders.
• Oversees new product launch presentations, internal initiatives and programs, and overall sales strategies.
• Effectively applies merchandising skills to promote and highlight S&S Activewear's competitive advantages in products and services.
• Works with and utilizes internal resources to identify, develop, and close opportunities (e.g., trade marketing, decoration, EDI, pricing, credit, website, custom sites, etc.).
• Collaborates cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals.
• Fosters relationships across the organization to promote communication and goal attainment.
• Manages the administrative duties of the position, including weekly reporting, calendar management, sales funnel tracking, program registration and renewal, DNR oversight, CRM reporting, and proposal tracking.
• Adheres to all deadlines.
• Maintains and enhances S&S Activewear's presence within accounts, which includes showroom management and collateral oversight.
• Attends trade shows, industry events, and customer gatherings as required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of in-person sales experience; experience in the promotional goods or apparel industry is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, effectively prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Proven capability to execute special assignments with minimal oversight.
• Strong organizational abilities.
