This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Responsible for selling MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) supplies and other products to a defined portfolio of customers in the multi-family housing sector (apartment communities).
β’ Drive profitable sales growth by acquiring new accounts, retaining existing clients, and identifying opportunities for expansion within current customers across core and emerging industries to achieve annual sales targets.
β’ Cultivate and sustain robust sales relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at all organizational levels, ensuring long-term viability.
β’ Manage sales volume with current customers while actively seeking and onboarding new clients to broaden and diversify the customer base.
β’ Develop and execute strategies to enhance business presence in the designated area.
β’ Share market insights and competitor data with relevant teams across the organization, promoting strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
β’ Work alongside leadership to analyze market trends and customer requirements, offering valuable feedback for crafting effective sales strategies and initiatives.
β’ Participate in monthly business meetings for all company-sponsored associations, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national events as needed.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) field sales experience.
β’ Direct sales experience with multi-family communities and facilities maintenance clients.
β’ Strong organizational skills and familiarity with handheld technology.
β’ Knowledge of facilities products including hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
β’ Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) software.
β’ Experience with consultative selling or solution selling is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets while working remotely.
β’ Bilingual in English and Spanish.
