This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Travel within the designated territory to expand the business through direct, face-to-face interactions with the customer base.
• Foster customer relationships utilizing consultative selling techniques, securing orders and engaging with customers via phone and virtual meeting platforms.
• Collaborate with customer service and branch locations to create new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with inside sales representatives to facilitate customer order placements, delivery scheduling, and pricing inquiries.
• Provide product pricing quotes and assess customer eligibility for volume purchase programs.
• Stay informed about customer purchasing patterns by reviewing monthly customer reports.
• Follow up on any samples or catalogs sent to potential or current customers.
• Partner with the Product Trainer to understand product applications, ensuring customers are updated on the latest developments.
• Timely meet territory reporting deadlines and conduct competitive analysis.
• Responsible for documenting activities and opportunities in our CRM system on a daily basis.
• Provide the company with insights regarding customer feedback and serve as a resource for all current sales channels.
• Strategically plan and organize sales approaches.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• An Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college is required.
• One to three years of sales experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid and clean state driver's license is necessary.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player with associates and managers.
• Must be a self-starter, objective, and assertive in their work.
• Maintain confidentiality concerning company-related issues and materials.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of team leaders, managers, associates, and customers.
• Competence in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to address issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
