Outpatient Mental Health Therapist – PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual, couples, and/or family outpatient therapy on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly schedule.

• Part-time clinicians are required to maintain a caseload that ensures a minimum of 12 completed client sessions each week (minimum availability: 16 hours per week).

• Oversee and manage an individual book of business, keeping an eye on caseload health and proactively addressing concerns (e.g., availability, cancellation reengagement, retention, clinical education, etc).

• Employ measurement-based care by integrating assessments into each session and tracking mental health outcomes.

• Complete timely documentation within Mamaya Health’s specified timeframes, including intakes, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Collaborate with other providers (such as medication prescribers, PCPs, OB-GYNs, dietitians, and other therapists) and family members as necessary.

• Communicate promptly with Mamaya Health staff, ensuring responses to email/chat within 2 business days or sooner when urgent matters arise.

• Actively engage in monthly team meetings, quarterly all-staff gatherings, monthly one-on-one meetings with the Team Lead, and supervisory meetings with the Team Lead or Senior Clinical Leadership as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Independently licensed preferred - LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT.

• At least provisionally licensed to practice in TN.

• Minimum of 1+ year of direct clinical experience.

• Preferred experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, or residential treatment settings.

• Experience working with women is preferred, particularly with a focus on women’s health across the lifespan.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity and cultural humility.

• Strong self-accountability and autonomy are essential.
