This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct all scheduled quality assurance evaluations for clients.
• Perform onboarding quality assurance evaluations for newly hired consultants.
• May offer training for newly onboarded coding consultants.
• Communicate quality concerns to management as necessary.
• Assist in the identification, drafting, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement action plans for coding consultants.
• Maintain reports and accuracy metrics for coding consultants and clients as appropriate.
• Address client QA requirements under the guidance of management.
• Provide educational sessions to coding consultants on error trends as requested by management.
• Notify management of any compliance issues or incidents.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations through appropriate handling of patient information.
• Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing patient information.
• Participate in educational conference calls.
• Offer coding support to the business as required.
• Undertake additional duties as necessary for the project.
• Meet required productivity and quality standards.
• Comply with coding credential requirements.
• Candidates must hold an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential; CIRCC/RCCIR is a plus.
• A minimum of 4 years of coding experience is required; specialty experience may be preferred based on specific client needs.
• A minimum of 2 years of auditing experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of remote working experience is recommended.
