OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OT/ICS environments, network segmentation, remote access, asset inventory, and security vulnerabilities on the plant floor.

• Implement IEC 62443, ISA-95, Purdue Model, and NIST-aligned controls within manufacturing settings.

• Collaborate with plant engineering, IT security, controls, networking, and operations departments.

• Analyze risks associated with SCADA, PLC, historian, HMI, OPC-UA, and industrial protocol exposure.

• Assist in developing secure architecture, risk mitigation strategies, incident response preparedness, and audit documentation.

• Articulate risks in business language to plant leaders and executives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• Practical or demonstrable expertise with OPC-UA, ISA-95 / Purdue Model, Industrial Cybersecurity (IEC 62443), MQTT / Sparkplug B, and SCADA.

• Capacity to engage with both business stakeholders and technical teams across OT and IT domains.

• Proficient in documentation, troubleshooting, testing, communication, and taking ownership of delivery.

• Experience in supporting implementation, integration, support, rollout, upgrade, or production deployment projects.

• Adaptable to remote, hybrid, and plant-facing delivery models based on client requirements.
