OT Developer – OpenText Exstream

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement improvements for both new and existing applications.

• Create and manage solutions utilizing OpenText Exstream and OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.

• Configure and deploy OpenText Exstream applications within Linux environments.

• Develop and execute automated unit and integration tests.

• Adhere to software engineering best practices and contribute to Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.

• Work collaboratively with QA teams and business users to validate solutions and address reported issues.

• Conduct code reviews to enhance code quality and application performance.

• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Prepare, package, and deploy application code across various environments.

• Create and maintain technical documentation while ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development.

• More than 7 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream and OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.

• Experience in configuring and deploying applications in Linux environments.

• Proficient in scripting with Perl.

• Strong understanding of XML.

• Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Strong comprehension of all stages of application development.

• Experience in conducting code reviews and enhancing application performance.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related combination of education and experience.

• Professional working proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).
