OT Cyber Security Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Serve as the representative for the OT and Cybersecurity team during engineering and technical design discussions and updates.

• Authorize and supervise DEPCOM Cybersecurity policies across ongoing EPC projects, which includes overseeing Remote Access Procedures and Project Handoff deliverables.

• Evaluate EPC requirements and specifications related to Cybersecurity, Networking, and NERC Compliance aspects of the EPC contract.

• Facilitate technical reviews in collaboration with SCADA suppliers, customers, and the Project Integration team, ensuring compliance with the EPC contract and industry standards.

• Observe the SCADA Factory Acceptance Testing and follow up on any identified punch list items.

• Identify technical and compliance risks, communicating any implications to the SCADA PM that may affect the project schedule and costs.

• Offer subject matter expertise on the SCADA network architecture for substations, PV, BESS, and associated connected network peripherals.

• Work alongside SCADA Vendors and the Commissioning team to troubleshoot network equipment that does not operate as intended.

• Travel to job sites as necessary to provide support.

• Advise owners and subcontractors on appropriate IT/OT Network segmentation.

• Assist the SCADA team with owner-related inquiries concerning CIP documentation and vulnerability assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience working directly on network design for utility-scale power plants.

• Strong understanding of NERC requirements, including CIP and asset management.

• Experience in troubleshooting network issues in both factory and commissioning settings.

• Skilled in reviewing and developing technical documentation and presenting requirements to stakeholders and peers.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

• Familiarity with SCADA server environments (such as VMware, Windows, and/or Linux systems).
