OSP Engineer – Road Moves

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee OSP engineering responsibilities for road relocation and highway expansion initiatives

• Liaise with DOT, local governments, utility companies, and contractors

• Conduct field surveys, site evaluations, and impact assessments

• Create engineering designs, construction documentation, and relocation strategies

• Generate cost estimates, materials inventories, and project schedules

• Act as the main engineering liaison during the planning, permitting, and construction stages

• Keep precise records: as-built documentation, CAD drawings, GIS updates, and permit submissions

• Collaborate effectively with Construction, Planning, and Permitting teams

• Ensure adherence to RUS, NESC, and company design requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

• 3–5+ years of experience in OSP Engineering

• Extensive understanding of OSP design (both aerial and underground)

• Proven experience collaborating with state DOTs, municipalities, and third-party contractors

• Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and OSP design applications

• Capability to work autonomously in field settings and juggle multiple priorities
