Origami Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of solutions for implementations and enhancements of the Origami Risk platform.

• Define solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives to fulfill client needs.

• Convert business and functional requirements into comprehensive technical solution designs.

• Offer architectural guidance in areas such as configuration, integration, reporting, workflows, and data migration.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

• Act as a subject matter expert in Insurance business processes, including Claims Management, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Risk Management, Loss Control, Incident Management, and Compliance and Regulatory Reporting.

• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements and solutions.

• Provide consultative support to clients and project teams based on industry best practices.

• Lead and mentor offshore teams involved in development, configuration, and support.

• Oversee solution delivery across multiple projects and workstreams.

• Conduct design and code reviews, as well as quality assurance activities.

• Coordinate efforts with onshore stakeholders, business users, and project managers.

• Drive estimation, planning, risk management, and governance of delivery activities.

• Ensure projects are executed on time and meet quality standards.

• Design and manage integrations between the Origami platform and enterprise applications.

• Define strategies for API, data exchange, and system integration.

• Support initiatives related to data migration, reporting, analytics, and workflow automation.

• Guarantee optimal performance, scalability, and security across the solution landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Insurance technology solutions.

• Extensive experience in implementing and architecting solutions on the Origami Risk platform.

• Proficient in configuration, workflows, forms, reporting, and process automation within Origami.

• Experience in designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Middleware platforms, and ETL processes.

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based application architectures.

• Familiarity with databases and analytics solutions.

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

• In-depth understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C), Commercial Lines, or Risk Management operations.

• Strong knowledge of claims lifecycle, underwriting, policy administration, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience collaborating with insurance carriers, brokers, TPAs, or risk management organizations.

• Proven track record of leading offshore teams and managing distributed delivery models.

• Strong client-facing skills in consulting and solution development.

• Ability to facilitate workshops on architecture and business discussions.

• Experience managing technical teams, resource planning, and delivery governance.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
