This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist partner organizations in strategizing and executing voter participation and advocacy initiatives, which encompass organizing, community engagement, and interaction with elected officials;
• Aid in the creation and implementation of training sessions, tools, and guidance for partner personnel regarding campaign planning, organizing methodologies, and the effective application of campaign resources;
• Support partners in developing and sustaining a robust organizing infrastructure, which includes systems for outreach, follow-up, event management, and engagement of volunteers and supporters;
• Convert insights from both internal and external research and impact assessments into actionable recommendations that enhance partner strategies, tactics, and execution;
• Collaborate with campaign vendors and internal cross-functional teams to ensure that partners receive timely and cohesive support;
• Facilitate both in-person and virtual gatherings, training sessions, and events for partners;
• Monitor campaign advancements, identify risks and opportunities, and assist in ensuring the completion of key deliverables across various partner relationships;
• Record partner requirements, lessons learned from implementation, and field feedback to enhance Murmuration’s organizing practices and support framework.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in organizing, advocacy, electoral engagement, civic activities, or campaign-related roles;
• Proven experience in supporting campaigns and/or community-focused programs from the planning phase through execution;
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to oversee multiple workstreams and keep both partners and internal stakeholders aligned;
• Experience in working directly with external partners, clients, coalition members, or community organizations in a relationship management or support role;
• Experience in facilitating training sessions or support workshops for practitioners with diverse skill sets;
• Familiarity with organizing tools, voter file systems, canvassing applications, or related campaign technologies; ability to quickly learn new tools;
• Knowledge of data-driven campaign strategies and the use of research to enhance voter engagement and organizing methods;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into practical insights for practitioners;
• Sound judgment, strong follow-through abilities, and comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities;
