ORAN Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Execute testing, tracing, debugging, and provide operational support for the client's 4G/5G trial system.

• Assist with configuration modifications as necessary.

• Serve as the local subject matter expert during critical phases of the project, including troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

• Foster and maintain strong customer relationships with the operator.

• Identify and manage technical risks and issues, ensuring effective solutions are implemented.

• Provide installation, commissioning, and configuration management of the system as needed.

• Support the customer in conducting the network testing phase throughout Europe.

• Develop test cases and test plans, and execute them for ORAN applications in customer labs.

• Collaborate within a team environment to address commercial virtualization and application challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Strong knowledge of Radio Access Network (RAN & vRAN) technologies.

• Extensive experience in troubleshooting and configuring 4G and 5G networks.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and French.

• Exceptional report writing capabilities.

• Highly skilled in 4G and 5G RAN technologies and solutions.

• Possess VNF and CNF skills and/or experience.

• Experience with K8S/Openstack/Harbor technologies.
