Oracle Utilities QA & Performance Engineer – C2M, CC&B, MDM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance, including the creation of test scenarios, execution of tests, automated regression testing, and performance engineering within Oracle Utilities systems (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM, SGG).

• Develop, construct, and implement automated regression test suites utilizing Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, or Java-based scripts.

• Guarantee coverage of essential M2C and MDM business scenarios to achieve zero-defect deployments.

• Create and execute batch load and stress testing scripts utilizing LoadRunner, JMeter, or Postman.

• Simulate high-volume billing cycles, IMD meter read ingestion, and usage calculation processes to detect bottlenecks and enhance thread allocation.

• Organize and carry out testing across SIT, UAT, ORT, Dress Rehearsal, and Post-Deployment Validation/Smoke Testing.

• Generate complex test datasets using SQL queries across Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS databases.

• Verify billing calculations, rate components, GL entries, To-Do creation, and meter read VEE statuses.

• Execute functional and performance testing on REST/SOAP APIs, middleware interfaces, and web services.

• Document, track, and manage software defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center.

• Collaborate with development leads to confirm fixes and produce SIT/UAT Test Execution Reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience for Mid Level and over 8 years for Senior Level in testing and performance engineering within Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM).

• Proficient in batch processing performance testing, batch cycle monitoring, and load testing on utility-scale datasets.

• Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java/Groovy) and performance testing tools (HP LoadRunner, LoadRunner Enterprise, JMeter).

• Skilled in test data creation, backend verification, and database state validation.

• Experienced in drafting detailed test plans, test cases, defect resolution logs, and summary sign-off reports.

• Knowledgeable in utility cloud release regression testing (Oracle Cloud releases) and environment validation.
