Oracle Fusion Absence Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to set up global absence plans within Oracle Fusion HCM.

• Engages in the assessment and gathering of business requirements to facilitate the configuration and administration of Oracle Fusion Absence.

• Creates test plans and documentation to oversee the testing procedure.

• Skilled in reviewing and diagnosing the integration of the Absence module with Time and Labor and Payroll systems in Oracle HCM.

• Exhibits proficiency in managing and executing absence administration processes.

• Demonstrates expertise in understanding and resolving approval workflows, crafting Fast Formulas, and producing BI reports within the Oracle HCM system.

• Prepares Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) adhering to the company’s established format.

• Capable of grasping technical design requirements and effectively conveying them to both IT and business stakeholders.

• Provides insights into best practices for managing a global absence module based on prior experience.

• Conducts system troubleshooting, leads reviews, testing, and implements system improvements, collaborating with IT teams and documenting processes and outcomes.

• Offers production support by addressing HR technology challenges, unexpected outcomes, or process inefficiencies.

• Performs regular data audits and enforces validation measures to maintain data integrity.

• Suggests enhancements for re-engineering and increasing the efficiency of various HR processes.

• Familiar with handling large datasets, leveraging PeopleSoft Excel to CI functionality.

• Knowledgeable in SQL and PeopleSoft query for data analysis and establishing requirements for IT.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant industry experience and/or a robust background in similar positions.

• Proficient in configuring absence plans and fast formulas for automated time-off accrual within Oracle Fusion or other Oracle cloud applications.

• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Oracle Cloud HCM.

• Familiarity with technologies that support various HR functions, including HRIS (HR Job Management, HR Org Management, HR Master Data, Compensation, Benefits, etc.), Talent Acquisition, Talent Development (Learning and Performance Management), Onboarding, Engagement, HR Operations, and experience with PeopleSoft HCMS, with a preference for Oracle Cloud HCM.

• Experience in integrating Absence with Benefits, Time and Labor, Payroll, etc.

• Proficient in managing approval workflows.

• Highly desired experience in ServiceNow and Jira ticket management.

• Comfortable utilizing the Microsoft Productivity Suite.

• Able to independently manage projects and fulfill commitments to stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of HR functional areas and how downstream data flows from HRIS supports each function.

• Possesses skills in Stakeholder Management, Managing Expectations, Prioritization, Conflict Resolution, and Decision-Making Quality.
