Oracle ERP Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their business requirements and deliver customized Oracle ERP solutions.

• Manage and lead end-to-end ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations, applying industry best practices.

• Supervise onshore, offshore, and nearshore technical teams utilizing various methodologies such as agile and waterfall.

• Recruit, hire, and oversee both full-time employees and contractors to support project initiatives, organizational strategies, and growth.

• Identify, document, and mitigate risks associated with implementation.

• Direct the implementation of reports, integrations, data conversions, extensions, and fast formulas.

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Create and construct reports, dashboards, and extensions using Oracle tools (BI Reports, OTBI, SQL, PL/SQL).

• Implement integrations with third-party applications utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other solutions.

• Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.

• Offer technical guidance and training to clients and internal teams.

• Mentor and cultivate career paths for internal team members.

• Develop a cutover plan for technical components.

• Engage in various Oracle initiatives and projects.

• Review and provide feedback on technical designs produced by teammates and contractors.

• Facilitate customer discussions independently and act as a trusted advisor for solutions.

• Take part in automation and digital transformation initiatives, both within and outside client projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in implementing Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle EBS.

• Previous experience collaborating with large enterprises on consulting, business process improvement, and IT implementation.

• Prior technical experience with Oracle Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Fusion Data Intelligence.

• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP cloud modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO, etc.

• Ability to drive detailed designs for customer requirements and develop code, test, and deliver products timely.

• Proven expertise in delivering technical solutions for complex customer engagements.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end software development and implementation life cycles.

• Experience engaging with business users to analyze processes and uncover requirements.

• Contribute to statements of work, work breakdown structures, and/or level of effort and staffing plans.

• Present and demonstrate solutions to clients effectively.

• Capability to craft and articulate strategic solutions.

• Enthusiasm for technology and solid understanding of the IT industry.

• Previous experience as a team lead or architect.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to exercise mature judgment.

• Leverage technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client challenges and build enduring business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking.

• Proven ability to contribute across multiple projects with varying scales and durations.

• Establish connections and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, steering committees, and client leadership.

• Collaborate efficiently with both internal and client groups.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.

• Strong communication abilities, initiative, sense of responsibility, flexibility, and customer focus.

• Experience in documenting design specifications and related processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, business, accounting, or a relevant major, or equivalent experience.
